University of Adelaide

Scholarship Description: The University of Adelaide is offering Global Academic Excellence Scholarship for students commencing their studies in any discipline. These scholarships are open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand).

This scholarship is a highly competitive award that rewards commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies.

Scholarship Provider: The University of Adelaide is one of Australia’s most prestigious universities and is renowned internationally for excellence in education and research.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate coursework.

Available Subject: Scholarships are available for study in any discipline.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship offers a reduction of 50% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar’s chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Eligible Nationalities: T his scholarship is open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand).
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• The selection process for The 2019 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level on par with the following:
• For undergraduate programs: Raw ATAR of 98 OR its equivalent
• For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA 6.8 out of 7 OR its equivalent

Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest value scholarship award that they are eligible for)

Exclusions

The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:
• Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers);
• Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department;
• Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.
• Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.

• Scholarship selection is based on academic merit

Swinburne University

Scholarship Description: The Swinburne University in Melbourne is offering International Aviation Women’s Association Scholarship for Local and international students. This scholarship is available for a female student studying full time in aviation.

Scholarship Provider: Swinburne is a large and culturally diverse organisation. A desire to innovate and bring about positive change motivates our students and staff. The result is in an institution that grows and evolves each year.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Scholarship Description: The Queensland University of Technology is delighted to offer International Merit Double Degree Scholarship in the basis of academic performance. This scholarship is open to international students.

Scholarship Description: The Edith Cowan University is awarding Overseas Partner Scholarship who have completed a program at an articulated partner institution off-shore for the year 2019. Scholarships are available for International students.

The scholarship funds can only be used for tuition fees and cannot be use for any other student expenses.

Degree Level: The scholarships are open to prospective international students seeking to complete a bachelor’s degree at Edith Cowan University.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship offers a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are available for International students.

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • have completed an eligible program at an articulated partner institution off-shore;
  • be commencing study at ECU in 2019 or 2020;
  • meet ECU’s academic direct admission requirements for the course of your choice;

Application Procedure: Students at ECU’s Off-shore articulation providers will be invited to apply for this scholarship.

Admissions Office will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.

To accept the scholarship, the recipient must:

  1. Meet any conditions listed in their Letter of Offer;
  2. Have met admission requirements relevant to their chosen course of study;
  3. Accept their Letter of Offer as per the instructions provided;
  4. Pay the indicative deposit and OSHC indicated in their Letter of Offer; and
  5. Be aware of the dates and deadlines by which the above need to have been completed.

The scholarship can be revoked if the dates and deadlines are not met.

Scholarship Description: The University of Technology Sydney is delighted to offer Health Dean’s Scholarship within the Faculty of Health. Scholarships are available to Australian or New Zealand citizens.

Scholarship Provider: The University of Technology Sydney is a public university in Sydney, Australia. Although its origins trace back to the 1870s, the university was founded in its current form in 1988.

  • Your Motivation to Succeed: Describe your motivation to succeed in your chosen undergraduate course. Discuss where your sense of motivation comes from and where you would like it to take you in your career and personal life.
  • Your Initiative: Discuss how you have demonstrated and/or used your initiative either in your professional and personal life? For example, you may want to discuss your involvement in sporting and/or cultural activities and any positions of leadership that you have held.

Curtin University

Applications are invited for Curtin International Scholarships – CRL Merit Scholarship for semester 1 at Curtin University in the Australia. All undergraduate degrees and all postgraduate degrees (master by coursework only) are only available to international students.

The Curtin University is an Australian public research university based in Bentley and Perth, Western Australia. The university is named after the 14th Prime Minister of Australia, John Curtin, and is the largest university in Western Australia, with over 58,000 students.

RMIT International Excellence Scholarship

The new RMIT International Excellence Scholarship is now available on offer for students commencing an RMIT program in 2019. Scholarship selection is based on academic merit and personal statement or video. Students must maintain a CGPA of 2.5 / 4.0 throughout your studies.

The aim of the scholarships is to assist people to pursue further levels of academic study.

The RMIT is a global university of technology, design and enterprise. RMIT is rated a five-star university. It is ranked as 16th in the world for art and design in the 2016 QS World University Rankings.

Deadline: Semester 1 2019: January 15, 2019 and Semester 2 2019: May 31, 2019

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to study full time Bachelors and Master by coursework programme.

The Central Queensland University offering the capstone editing textbook grant for international students .international students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The capstone editing textbook for undergraduate students is awarded on the basis of financial need.

The grant is primarily for full-time students. If you are studying part-time, you are only eligible to apply if you can demonstrate career commitments or a medical condition that prohibit you from studying full time.

Central Queensland University is an Australian dual sector university based in Queensland. Its main campus is in Norman Gardens in Rockhampton.

Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for this scholarship, please check your eligibility against these criteria:

  • You must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at an Australian or New Zealand university.
  • You can be studying internally or externally.
  • You can be a domestic or international student.
  • The grant is primarily for full-time students. If you are studying part-time, you are only eligible to apply if you can demonstrate career commitments or a medical condition that prohibit you from studying full time.
  • You must be a full-time student for the duration of the grant. You will receive one $1,000 gift voucher per year for three years, so long as you are studying full-time during those years (you are still eligible if you become a postgraduate student during that time).
  • You cannot apply if you are an employee or contractor of Capstone Editing (or a family member of an employee or contractor)

Scholarship Description: The Edith Cowan University is calling applications from domestic and international students to apply for its IEEE Computer Society Computer Science Scholarship in Australia.

The University of Wollongong is an Australian public research university located in the coastal city of Wollongong, New South Wales, approximately 80 kilometres south of Sydney.
